Prototype - Saturday shooting
Diary Entry
We decided to meet up by 9.30am on Saturday 17th of November in order to meet Dan Wolfe and Nick Assaf for 11am in Moneystown, Co. Wicklow. Upon arrival to Blanchardstown, We sat in Ian's car deciding the shot's we wanted to take so that we weren't shooting without a plan.We arrived in Moneystown at 11am as scheduled although we did get a call letting us know that Dan would be arriving late. We promptly hopped out of the car as our legs were aching and we were eager for adventure. Taking our time to experience the Wicklow Mountains in all its glory, we explored through the forest and waited for Dan to arrive.
We made a silent contract to each other and agreed to be professional and mature towards Dan and Nick as we wanted to let them know we were here on serious business. The only problem was James blurting out "Rob has match attacks in the back seat". Some would think this was our greatest downfall but to our surprise, Dan was equally excited about match attacks as Rob was when he opened them.
We clicked with Dan and Nick right off the bat, they were open and casual and we quickly went back to our normal jokey selves although we maintained our maturity during shooting and interviews. The main benefit to sharing the same humor as Dan and Nick was the main fact that the day was a lot more fun as we not only shot video and took photo's but we also made memories and friends from this experience. Dan Wolfe and Nick Assaf are two of the must modest people and we were very grateful and honored to be able to work side by side with them over the course of 6 hours.
Toward's the end of the day we put down our camera's, packed away our bag's and talked to Dan and Nick about College, Life and our future plan's. The day was well worth it.
